Choose a leather iPhone case by phone model first, accessory needs second, and color last. A similar name, matching screen size or familiar camera shape is not enough to establish case fit. Use the model and style selectors on the individual product page before adding it to your cart.

1. Identify your iPhone before choosing a case
Open Settings, then General, then About to find your device information. Check the model name and retain the generation and suffix, such as Pro, Pro Max, Plus or mini, when selecting a case. If the name is unclear, use Apple's model-number instructions and ask us to help match it before ordering.
Do not choose a nearby model simply because its screen size looks similar. If your model is not listed for a particular KAKAVY case, that page does not establish compatibility with it. Avoid assuming a new phone generation is supported because an older one is shown.
2. Treat the case style as a separate choice
The KAKAVY Vintage Patina iPhone family has two style labels: Without Magsafe and With Magsafe. Select the style as well as the model. A style label is not a measured charging speed or a guarantee that every magnetic wallet, stand or charger will work with your phone.
If a particular accessory is essential, send us the exact phone and accessory model before ordering. Magnetic attachment, phone charging support and actual charging performance are separate questions. Apple's charging guidance explains that the phone, power adapter and operating conditions affect charging; it does not verify the performance of a KAKAVY case.
3. Compare the actual construction, not just the word leather
The Vintage Patina product listings describe a vegetable-tanned full-grain leather exterior, a PC shell and microfiber lining. That construction description applies to this family. It should not be transferred automatically to a different unibody, folio or Samsung design.
Leather appearance and protection performance are different buying decisions. Natural grain, small marks and color variation are described in the Vintage Patina listings. Those details do not establish a drop-test rating, waterproofing or resistance to every scratch. Check the model-specific images and details rather than treating the leather grade as a protection test.
Full-grain and vegetable-tanned describe different things
Full-grain describes the retained grain surface; vegetable-tanned describes the tanning method. Neither term alone tells you how glossy a finish will be, how quickly its color will change or how well a complete phone case protects a device. A leather exterior also does not mean that the whole case is made only of leather.
For terminology, see the Leather Working Group definitions. This is a terminology reference, not a claim that this case is certified by LWG.
4. Pick your color within the same product family
Compare the current Vintage Patina colors below, then choose the model and style on the color's own page. A photograph may show one phone version; the selected model, not the photograph alone, determines what you order.

Compare the finishes shown in the current product photos. Lighting and screens can affect perceived color; these are not before-and-after patina photos.
Before you add to cart

- Check your selected Style rather than leaving an unintended default.
- Confirm any essential charger, magnetic wallet or mount compatibility.
- Review the chosen color and product-specific construction.
- Review the current production and delivery information on that product page.
Common ordering questions
Can I select a case using screen size alone?
No. Use the model selection for the product you are buying. Screen size alone does not establish matching camera, button or port placement.
Does With Magsafe confirm a charging wattage?
No charging wattage is established by the option name. Ask about your exact phone and accessory combination if charging performance is important to your choice.
Does one color page cover every iPhone?
No. Use the model choices actually listed on that page and check current availability. Do not order another model as a substitute without confirmation.
Is this guide a Samsung fit guide?
No. These ordering steps and linked products focus on the Vintage Patina iPhone family. A Samsung case must be selected for its own listed Samsung model.
