Past zonder problemen door mijn riemlussen.
Ik draag het bijna elke dag met een spijkerbroek. In het begin was het vrij stug, maar na een paar weken is het mooi soepel geworden en heeft het zijn vorm behouden.
Koffiebruin staat zowel goed bij donkere spijkerbroeken als bij beige chino's, dus het is mijn dagelijkse riem geworden.
Dik leer en een stevige gesp.
Wat ik het mooist vind, is hoe het leer verandert door gebruik. De plooien en donkere plekken rond de gesp geven het een persoonlijkere uitstraling in plaats van een versleten look.
Een prima breedte voor een spijkerbroek voor dagelijks gebruik.
Mijn roodbruine riem heeft een aantrekkelijke kleurschakering en oogt niet overdreven gepolijst.
Het leer voelt heerlijk aan in de hand – droog, natuurlijk en licht gestructureerd in plaats van glad en plasticachtig. Nu ik het een tijdje heb gedragen, vind ik de verweerde afwerking eigenlijk nog mooier.
De houder zit strak genoeg om het uiteinde te controleren zonder het inrijgen te bemoeilijken.
Ik heb een maat groter besteld dan mijn broekmaat, nadat ik een oude riem had opgemeten. Het middelste gaatje zorgt voor een comfortabele pasvorm en er blijft voldoende riem over.
Ik vind het geweldig.
Een fantastische textuur die er niet nep uitziet.
Het leer voelt dik en duurzaam aan.
De antieke messingkleurige gesp past beter bij het verweerde leer dan een glanzende gesp.
